These terms are the agreement between you and BeadCounters when you use beadcounters.com. BeadCounters is run by one person, Ajey Nagarkatti. In these terms, "we" means BeadCounters.

By using the site or making an account, you agree to these terms. Our privacy policy says what we collect and why.

Who can use BeadCounters

  • You need to be at least 13.
  • If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
  • Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • If you think someone else got into your account, change your password and email us.

Your designs and information

  • What you add is yours: your designs, photos, supplies, prices and business name. We don't claim any of it.
  • We store it and show it to you so BeadCounters works. We use it for nothing else.
  • We never sell it.
  • You can delete your account in Settings. Everything in it is deleted straight away.

The numbers are estimates

  • The calculators and the app work out prices from the numbers you enter.
  • They're estimates to help you decide. Check them before you rely on them.
  • Marketplace and card fees come from each company's public pages, with the date we read them. Fees change, so check the current rates.
  • Nothing on BeadCounters is tax, legal or financial advice.

Plans and paying

The calculators and the free plan cost nothing. Pro isn't for sale yet. Before you can pay for it, we'll show the price, what you get and how to cancel.

Using BeadCounters fairly

Please don't:

  • break the law with it, or use it to sell anything illegal
  • upload photos you don't have the right to use
  • try to get into someone else's account or into our systems
  • overload the site, or copy it in bulk with automated tools
  • copy our calculators, guides or design to make your own product

We can pause or close an account that breaks these rules. When we can, we'll email you first.

What belongs to us

The BeadCounters name, logo, calculators, guides and site design belong to us. You're welcome to link to any page, and to quote a few lines with a link back.

Other companies

BeadCounters is not connected to Etsy, Amazon, eBay, Square, Shopify or any other company we mention. Their names are their own trademarks.

If something goes wrong

  • We work to keep BeadCounters running and your information safe. We can't promise it will never be down or make a mistake.
  • We provide BeadCounters as it is, with no promises beyond these terms.
  • As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for lost sales, profit or information from using it.
  • If we are responsible for a loss, there's a limit to what we owe. It's $50, or what you paid us in the past 12 months if that's more.

Changes

  • We may add, change or remove features. If we ever close BeadCounters, we'll email you first, so you have time to copy your information.
  • If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For a big change, we'll email you first.
